If you need to share an active antenna among multiple receivers, opt for a GPS splitter with one port that passes DC current to power the antenna. This solution suits 95% of applications. However, for specific cases like using GPS simulators, you might need a splitter that blocks DC current at all ports.

Typically, the GPS receiver connected to the antenna supplies DC current to power it. When connecting multiple GPS receivers to a single antenna, one receiver must provide DC current, while the others block it. In rare scenarios, such as testing with a GPS simulator, you won’t need to power an active antenna and should block the DC current from your receivers.
