TW3870

GPS/QZSS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1, BeiDou B1 | 35 dB

More details

  • Low Noise Amplifier (LNA):< 2 dB
  • Axial ratio: < 2 dB typ.
  • Tight Phase Center Variation (PCV)
  • High Gain: 35 dB typ.
  • Low current: 24 mA typ.
  • Invariant performance from: +2.5 to 16VDC

The TW3870 employs Tallysman’s unique Accutenna® technology, covering GPS/QZSS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1, BeiDou B1, as well as SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS).

Ideal for precision positioning and RTK surveying systems, the TW3870 provides excellent circular polarized signal reception, great multi-path and out-of-band signal rejection.

The TW3870 features a precision tuned, circular dual-feed, stacked patch element. The signals from the two orthogonal feeds are combined in a hybrid combiner, amplified in a wide-band Low Noise Amplifier, then band-split for narrow filtering in each band and further amplified prior to recombination at the output.

The TW3870 offers excellent axial ratio and a tightly grouped phase center variation.

The TW3870 is housed in a permanent mount industrial grade weather-proof enclosure, available in conical or flat radome styles and in grey or white colours. Two options for pole mounting are available an L-Bracket or a Pipe Mount. A 100mm ground plane is recommended for non-roof-top installations.

LNA Pre-filter Available

If you need enhanced protection against high level sub-harmonic signals like LTE and near frequency signals such as WiFi, the alternative TW3872 provides these additional benefits with an LNA pre-filter. Click here to learn more about the TW3872.
