The NLR-SPL16/32 Rack-Mount Splitter is designed for GNSS signal distribution when multiple GNSS outputs are needed at a single location. The NLR-SPL Series supports power inputs of either -48VDC or 100–240VAC.
The Antenna IN port supplies 5VDC to power an external active antenna, and includes short-circuit detection, indicated via an LED on the front panel. A fiber input (SC/APC connector), selectable via a switch, is available for long-distance cable runs. The NLR-SPL32-FO model integrates a fiber-to-GNSS RF signal converter/receiver. For this setup, a GPS-over-fiber transmitter is required near the rooftop antenna. This configuration is ideal for in-building signal distribution where fiber infrastructure is already in place.
Each output is DC-blocked and includes a 200Ω load to simulate antenna current draw.
GNSS signals are essential for synchronization in many telecom applications. This rack-mounted distribution solution is easily installed in standard cabinets and supports -48VDC power input.
An integrated GNSS receiver provides 3D-Fix status via an LED indicator. A rear USB Type-A port allows users to monitor GNSS status (satellites, constellations) using the free u-center software.
Note: Fiber input is optional. All racks are equipped with a fiber connector, but they do not include an internal RF-over-Fiber converter by default. Part numbers in the NLR-SPLxx series must include the "FO" suffix when the fiber option is installed, for example:
If the fiber option is not installed, the Antenna/Fiber switch must be set to "Antenna" to ensure the RF signal is routed through the antenna input.
